In October, I was announced as the new Executive Director of the American Society of Administrative Professionals. I could not be more thrilled to be in this position.
I was happy to be able to attend the 2018 APC and EA Summit and was so impressed with the caliber of the admins and assistants who contribute so much to their organizations. I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you what I learned from watching you:

I was born in New Hampshire but grew up in a small town in Maine. My education was a beautiful mix of public, private and home school – all of which I loved.
With a new perspective, I headed to college at a small university in Tennessee. After graduating, I landed my first job as a marketing admin for events. I threw myself into it, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could. I loved working on events. All the thousands of details leading up to that one day. No pressure, right? The excitement and stress are exhilarating! Over the years I have managed several events for different audiences – all with different needs for gathering together.
