ASAP Awards | The American Society of Administrative Professionals Submissions are open ›
Every year during Admin Month, we take a moment to celebrate the incredible administrative professionals who make organizations thrive. However, we'd also like to turn the spotlight inward to celebrate the team that works tirelessly behind the scenes at ASAP. From organizing top-tier events to curating impactful content and connecting with our amazing community, this team is the heart of everything we do.
Get to know the people who make ASAP a hub of inspiration, education, and support for the admin community. Here’s a closer look at some of the key players who bring our mission to life.
As our Event Director, "Meg" ensures that ASAP’s conferences and events like APC and EA Ignite run smoothly, offering unforgettable experiences for attendees. Meggan’s dedication to crafting engaging and impactful events is a cornerstone of ASAP’s success.
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of planning events for the admin community?
"The most rewarding part of what I do is seeing administrative professionals walk away from our events feeling empowered, valued, and better equipped to lead. These professionals are the silent engines behind high-performing teams and organizations, and they often don’t get the recognition or resources they deserve. Being able to create a space where they’re not only celebrated, but also challenged to grow, build their network, and see what’s possible in their roles is incredibly fulfilling. Watching their confidence grow and hearing how they’re applying new skills back at work reminds me why this work matters."
Q: How have ASAP’s events evolved to meet the changing needs of today’s administrative professionals?
"ASAP’s events have grown alongside the profession itself. Administrative roles have become more strategic, tech-driven, and leadership-oriented—and our programming reflects that. We’ve moved beyond traditional skills training to offer high-level sessions on business operations, AI and tech fluency, change management, and executive partnership. We've introduced certifications, deep-dive workshops, and even peer-led content that speaks directly to the modern admin experience. Our events are no longer just about learning; they're about elevating the profession and equipping attendees to lead in today’s fast-paced, evolving workplace."
Leah leads the charge in delivering valuable content to ASAP’s audience. From focusing on research and development to collaborating with our training partners, Leah ensures that every resource we produce meets the high standards our community expects.
Q: What inspires you most about creating content for administrative professionals?
"I am most inspired by the stories from administrative professionals who share how ASAP, APC, and EA Ignite content have empowered them in their professional development. When an ASAP community member shares how they received a promotion or a raise after earning their PACE or took what they learned in an APC or EA Ignite session to transform their admin department or drive measurable success with their executive team, it reinforces why our work matters."
Q: What’s your approach to developing training content that truly resonates with today’s admins?
"ASAP training content is data-driven and therefore always evolving to be the most timely, relevant, and actionable for today’s administrative professionals. We conduct extensive research and incorporate feedback from the community, such as through event surveys, online training surveys, and our annual State of the Profession survey, to provide tailored training and resources for upskilling and career advancement."
Nicole’s work helps organizations support their administrative teams by crafting customized training plans and building business cases that make professional development, like in-person events, certification, and on-demand learning, a strategic part of their annual goals.
Q: How do you see the partnerships you’ve built impacting the admin community?
"Over time, I’ve had the privilege of watching admins who started out simply curious about training resources grow into strong voices for the community. Whether they’ve become champions for professional development within their organizations, active contributors on LinkedIn or in the ASAP Circle, or even ASAP Advisory Board members, it’s been amazing to witness their growth. One of the best parts of my job is seeing these inspiring career journeys unfold."
Q: What’s the most exciting part of your role at ASAP?
"More and more organizations are beginning to recognize just how essential administrative professionals are—and they’re backing that up with investments in leadership and tech training. At the same time, admins are taking ownership of their growth, stepping into larger roles, and demonstrating their value in powerful ways. We’re seeing more admins being invited to the table, contributing to key discussions, and playing an integral part in driving major projects forward."
ASAP’s success is a direct result of the collaboration, creativity, and passion of its team. Each person brings unique strengths and perspectives, all united by a shared commitment to empowering administrative professionals.
While we’ve highlighted just a few team members here, there’s so much more happening behind the scenes. From designing resources to engaging with our community, every role plays a critical part in delivering the value ASAP is known for.
This Admin Month, we not only celebrate you, our incredible admin community, but also the dedicated team working to ensure ASAP remains your trusted partner in professional growth. Together, we’re building a brighter future for the administrative profession.
