Strategic Executive Administrator Certification is designed for senior-level admins and executive admins looking to elevate their strategic impact. SEAC is a professional credential that validates high-level executive support and business operations skills. Unlike other certifications, SEAC is designed with insights from the largest benchmarking survey in the profession.
Credentials empower potential.
SEAC develops and validates mastery across four domains: executive operations, business and financial acumen, applied technology (including AI and automation), and modern leadership strategies.
The curriculum goes deep — covering everything from risk mitigation and governance to data-driven decision making and change management. Built for professionals who have earned a seat at the table and want the certification to match.
This is the natural next step for PACE-certified professionals — and the credential for experienced executive assistants, executive business partners, and senior administrative leaders looking to make their strategic impact official.
Everything you need to get certified.

SEAC is taught through an interactive, e-learning platform and is comprised of 4 learning modules. There are no prerequisites; and with instant enrollment and access, you can start learning right away. SEAC is best suited for those ready for and already in the Partnering and Leading career stages.
The operational backbone of the certification. This module covers the core competencies that define executive-level administrative support — from strategic gatekeeping and priority management to crisis communication, complex travel logistics, and project coordination. Learners will also build skills in information management, process improvement, business continuity planning, and productivity strategies to help them operate with greater precision and impact at the executive level.
Designed to sharpen the strategic lens every senior EA needs. This module goes beyond day-to-day tasks to build fluency in financial acumen, corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and data-driven decision-making. Learners will explore how to contribute meaningfully to strategic planning conversations, negotiate effectively, and position themselves as true business partners to their executives.
A comprehensive tour of the digital tools and platforms that power modern executive support. From advanced Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace skills to AI productivity tools, automation, data visualization, and cybersecurity best practices, this module equips learners to leverage technology with confidence — and to help their executives do the same. Learners will also explore sections on digital literacy and website/social media management.
Where executive support meets leadership development. This module explores the mindset shifts and interpersonal skills that distinguish strategic admins —including leadership styles, change management, professional etiquette, conflict resolution, networking, and self-leadership. Learners will examine what it means to lead up, across, and down within an organization, and how to build a sustainable, values-driven career in the EA profession.

PACE provides foundational administrative skills for entry to mid-level admins and EAs, covering essential topics like interpersonal communication, organization, task & project management, and core administrative competencies. SEAC is an advanced program designed for senior-level EAs who have already mastered those foundational skills, focusing exclusively on executive-level business acumen, strategic operations, advanced technology, and the leadership capabilities needed to become a true business partner.
PACE Certification is not a prerequisite for SEAC. However, SEAC assumes you’re comfortable with core EA responsibilities and are ready to focus on advanced strategic concepts like financial analysis, risk management, executive business operations, and leadership influence—whether you gained that expertise through PACE, on-the-job experience, or other training.
