Shane Callahan is Chief Information Officer at Vanderbilt University, bringing more than 25 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, intelligence, and executive leadership. He joined Vanderbilt as its inaugural Chief Information Security Officer, where he built the institution’s information security program from the ground up before being named CIO in 2024. Prior to Vanderbilt, Shane held senior leadership roles at naviHealth (an Optum company), Deloitte, and Tractor Supply Co., leading enterprise security, data protection, federal compliance, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
