CliftonStrengths® Foundations Cohort: Using Your Strengths to Enhance Partnerships, Increase Influence, and Maximize Your Impact

A 4-Week Virtual Learning Experience: Limited to the first 20 participants. Live session attendance is essential to unlocking the program's full value.

What's Included?

Your greatest opportunities for growth don’t come from fixing weaknesses, but from understanding and investing in your natural talents.

The CliftonStrengths Foundations Cohort is an interactive four-week virtual learning experience designed to help participants discover, develop, and apply their unique strengths to enhance performance, strengthen partnerships, improve communication, and increase their impact at work.

Through guided learning, reflection, discussion, and practical application, participants will gain a deeper understanding of their CliftonStrengths profile and learn how to intentionally leverage their talents to achieve greater success. Unlike a traditional workshop, this cohort format provides opportunities to practice new insights between sessions, engage with peers, and apply strengths-based concepts to real-life workplace situations.

By the end of the program, participants will have greater self-awareness, a stronger appreciation for their unique value, and a personalized plan for turning their talents into strengths that support long-term personal and professional growth.

Every person has a unique pattern of talents that influences how they think, communicate, and build relationships. In this opening session, participants will explore the CliftonStrengths philosophy and gain a deeper understanding of their Top 5 themes. They will learn the difference between talent and strength, discover what it means to work in their strengths zone, and begin recognizing how their natural talents contribute to success. Through guided reflection and discussion, participants will uncover new insights about themselves and establish a foundation for strengths-based growth.

Interactive Activities

  • Introductions and strengths-focused discussion
  • Working in Your Strengths Zone exercise
  • First Impressions reflection and discussion

Our strengths influence not only our own success but also the value we contribute to our teams, leaders, colleagues, and organizations. In this session, participants will explore the power, needs, and potential of their strongest themes while gaining a greater appreciation for the unique contributions they bring to their roles. Using the Name It, Claim It, Aim It framework, participants will learn how to intentionally invest in their talents and apply them more effectively to achieve meaningful results.

Interactive Activities

  • Theme Awareness exercise
  • Name It, Claim It, Aim It application activity

The most effective professionals understand not only their own strengths but also how those strengths influence the people around them. In this session, participants will explore how their talents affect communication, collaboration, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership. They will gain a greater appreciation for strengths differences, discover strategies for working more effectively with others, and learn how to leverage complementary talents to build stronger partnerships and increase their overall effectiveness.

Interactive Activities

  • Talent Map exercise
  • Strengths Partnership discussion

Awareness is only the beginning. Lasting growth occurs when strengths are intentionally developed and applied over time. In this final session, participants will reflect on what they have learned throughout the cohort and create a personalized strengths development plan. They will identify opportunities to leverage their talents more strategically, support their professional growth, and increase their impact in areas that matter most. Participants will leave with practical next steps and a clear roadmap for continuing their strengths journey.

  • Personal strengths development planning

A 30-minute follow-up session held approximately 30 days after the cohort concludes to reinforce learning, celebrate successes, discuss challenges, and support continued strengths development and accountability.
