I was a medical assistant for over 13 years and had put in an application for a position within the University of California, Irvine. When they called me back, they said they didn't have any open positions for medical assisting but thought with my experience I would be a great Administrative Assistant. I started out as an Administrative Assistant and worked my way up to being an Executive Assistant within 4 months.
I love collaborations and working with other teams and stakeholders to come up with a solution or project. I am in an environment now where I am able to make decisions on my own to ensure that there is efficiency and I love the freedom of being able to come up with new ideas.
I am new to ASAP, but I love the collaborative comments and suggestions that are given. Everyone is involved and I love seeing all of the different mindsets.
Strength, Resilience, and Endurance. I enjoy challenges and persevere.
Welcome to the ASAP Circle, a community platform for peer-to-peer conversation on trending topics, professional challenges, and shared experiences. We even have designated spaces for weekly Tuesday Coffee Breaks.
