ASAP Staff Holiday Traditions

Attending the candle-lit children’s Christmas Eve service and then getting together with family for Maine lobster stew! - Michelle Whitney

After the big dinner, when everyone just wants to lie down and moan, we put on our boots and coats instead and go for a long walk. Babies on sleds to grandparents; boots crunching in the snow and red cheeks. And sometimes, there is singing. - Linda Sherman

My favorite holiday tradition is baking Italian Anise Cookies with my Mother and Grandmother. - Samantha Coughlin

Thanksgiving is our extended family holiday. We make a big fire, with liquor-dipped marshmallows and hot chocolate. We dip the marshmallows in peppermint schnapps and hold them over the fire to toast. - Danica Rosenthal Schroth

I love decorating our Christmas tree and making a gingerbread house with my family – and then eating it, of course! - Melanie Perry
