Company benefits are integral to any prospective candidate, so make sure that they are clearly advertised — after all, company benefits exist to help the company as well as its employees.

If you’re unsure about what benefits to offer (if you are a new company, for example), research the local market to see what your competitors provide for their employees. While you’re there, it’s also best to research what competitors are paying their employees, if they advertise their salaries at all. If you’re still unsure, it could also be worth asking your recruitment consultant what they think the average or most competitive salary might be.
