Staying tuned in to what is changing in your industry is how you keep your head above water and succeed in changing landscapes. Don’t assume that everything you’re doing is the best way to do it just because it’s always been done that way.
Being open to making mistakes, learning from them, and hearing suggestions from the people around doesn’t just open the doors for better productivity, focus, and energy. After all, it’s not just about what you can gain from it. Showing that you’re open to new things and even asking your coworkers for input shows humility and a vested interest in what the people around you are thinking.
